Gruppo accoglienza migranti
Si è costituito nell’estate del 2016 per accogliere sei ragazzi africani subsahariani richiedenti asilo politico in un appartamento del quartiere nello stile dell’accoglienza diffusa. Il progetto è gestito in collaborazione con la Caritas diocesana.
Lo scopo è quello di favorire l’integrazione nella vita della nostra società e puntare all’autonomia completa (lavoro,casa). Questo nell’attesa che l’iter legale,che essi hanno intrapreso,si concluda con la concessione di un permesso di soggiorno stabile in Italia. Successivamente si è avviata l’esperienza di accoglienza di cinque giovani eritrei provenienti da un campo profughi in Etiopia giunti in Italia legalmente attraverso i corridoi umanitari e che già hanno ottenuto lo stato di rifugiati politici.
I volontari(che spesso comunicano attraverso messaggi veloci per problematiche urgenti) si riuniscono una volta al mese, per confrontarsi sulla situazione dei singoli ragazzi.
Una volta al mese è programmata anche un’importante riunione con gli operatori della cooperativa Ruah, che hanno compiti più istituzionali e devono rispondere alla Prefettura dell’operato dei ragazzi.
